We are working very hard at rescheduling all our guests who had appointments between March 18 and May 30. It is taking us much longer than anticipated. We initially thought we could start taking new appointments and calling our waiting list on May 28 but need to push that to June 2.

Please also remember that our team is doing the very best they can to get you all back in as soon as possible. We are limited on what we can do at this time. Thank you for understanding and your continued patience. We can't wait to see you all.

We appreciate you all so much and thank you for all your “behind the scene” efforts to get everyone scheduled and cared for and along with that maintaining standards for safety and well-being! Bravo!

Does the June 2nd new appointment date apply to massage appointments too? My pregnant back is in need of some TLC, can't wait to schedule!!! Thank you for all of your hard work, i cant imagine having to navigate all of this!

We had horrible flood damage in the storm last night and found out insurance won’t cover it. I saw Salon Ultimo pop up on my phone and I told Alyssa that she absolutely made my day!!

I'm so waiting for that "Special Phone Call" ... I cannot imagine how much work this is to reschedule all of us - thank you!!

If I happen to already have a June 1, 9:15 AM appt, should I presume it is on or off.

This is a long process, and we promise we will contact you if you had an appointment any time between March 18 - May 30. Once those appointments are complete, we will begin accepting new appointments. Please hold off on any phone calls that are not retail orders until next Thursday, May 28. 

We are so excited to get back to doing what we love and seeing you all. Thank you so much for all the wonderful messages, calls, emails, and reviews. We would not have got through this without you.

STATE ANNOUNCES OPENING POTENTIALLY JUNE 1
We are excited to reopen Salon Ultimo but are currently awaiting the state guidelines for safety, sanitation, and social distancing that will be released on May 20. After that is released, we will update you again on our plan moving forward. Anyone with appointments between March 18-May 30 will be contacted to reschedule once those guidelines are received. Any new appointments will be contacted after that.

AS OF JUNE 1, HERE ARE THE APPOINTMENT GUIDELINES AT SALON ULTIMO: 

•To safely serve you, you will be greeted at the entrance to review our enhanced protocols. 
•Employees nor guests will be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 symptoms. If you are not feeling well, reschedule your appointment, you will not be penalized.
•Guests will be served by appointment only. 
•Guests will be asked to call us upon arrival, before entering the salon.   
     *If the salon is at capacity, guests will receive a text or call when they can enter the premises, as you may be waiting in your car or outside.
•Employees and guests will receive a temperature check prior to entering premises.
•The number of guests on the premises may be limited to 50% of normal capacity. Please do not bring friends, significant others, or your kids in while you are receiving a service.
•Stations will be at least six feet apart.
•All guests and staff must wear a mask, if you're receiving a hair service you will need to have one that goes behind the ears. 
•All equipment used by a service provider will be sanitized between guests. 
•Clean/sanitized capes and smocks for each guest. 
•Guests will be expected to wash their hands upon entering the salon at our designated washing station. 
•Doors and exits will be sanitized. 
•If you are wanting a big change, please call and set up a time for your stylist to call you prior to your appointment.
•No beverages or magazines will be offered. Feel free to bring your own. Please take them home with you when you are done.
•Limit bringing in extra belongings: laptops, Ipads, big coats, food, etc. 
•Kid’s services will not be allowed unless they are ok with being in the salon alone.
•Please no talking at the shampoo bowls.
•We ask that you limit talking at the stations. Your technician will be wearing PPE and communicating beyond consultations will be difficult. 
•Refrain from touching retail items. If you need something, ask one of our guest service members and they will be happy to get that for you. 
•Receipts will be emailed. No paper copies will be handed out.
•Refrain from hugging, hi-fives, fist bumps, or touching each other when possible. 
•Once your service and check out is complete, exit the salon. We cannot have guests waiting inside for rides or any other reason.
•Please respect other guests and employees by following the 6 feet social distancing guidelines. 
•Wait for a staff member to direct you to where to go. Please do not wander around the salon. 
•If you have a question or need something, ask. We are happy to help in any way we can.

We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you are healthy, we look forward to seeing you with your protective face mask!
Exciting news from Governor Walz. Salons will potentially re-open on June 1, as long as the number of COIVID victims doesn't increase drastically in the next few weeks. That being said, we are still awaiting the state guidelines to be released before we can start any rescheduling. It sounded like we should receive those on the 20th. Thank you for your continued patience. We are committed to putting the safety of our guests and team as our top priority.
