Here are a few fun facts about Tomball, Texas:

Named After a Politician: The city was originally called "Peck," but it was renamed in 1907 for Thomas Henry Ball, an attorney for the Trinity & Brazos Valley Railroad who was instrumental in routing the rail line through the community.

Festivals Galore: The city celebrates its heritage with popular annual events, including the Tomball German Heritage Festival and the Rails & Tails Mudbug Festival (a celebration of crawfish).
