The Vogelsang Antique Emporium

Time for another edition of #WayBackWednesday! We're not sure of some of the years this week, but, check these "oldies but goodies" out!!! First is a picture of the construction of the Brazos River Bridge in 1909! Second is the old Richmond Post Office! Looks pretty small nestled in between those big buildings!!! Third is the 1950's Ray Glass Co. storefront! This company still exists today!!! Fourth is a local band from here in town, "Triumphs"! Anyone follow them around back in the day? Fifth is the inside of the Cole Theater. Don't you just love the Art Deco stylings? Man, this place must have been COOOOOOOL in it's day!!! In the sixth picture, Beatlemania comes to Rosenberg as the Cole Theater screens 'A Hard Day's Night' in 1964!!! Finally, did you know there was a drive in movie theater in Rosenberg? Check out this picture of the Twin City Theater in 1968!!! Do YOU have any cool pictures of our historic town??? Drop them in the comment section!
