July 4th holiday update:

Hello everyone we wanted to give an update on our July 4th weekend plans. We have decided to close all locations this weekend July 4-5 Saturday and Sunday. Our dedicated staff have been working incredibly hard these past few months during these trying times and we wanted to give them the weekend off to rest and spend with family. It was a tough decision because we have never closed on July 4th weekend since we have open the doors nearly 25 years ago but we felt it best to give everyone a much needed break and time with their family. We will continue regular service tomorrow Friday 7/3. We will be closed Saturday 7/4 and Sunday 7/5 and resume regular service Monday 7/6. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe July 4th weekend. Thank you once more SETX from the Tokyo family for your continued support.

New face mask policy update mandated by Jefferson county judge:

Starting 6/24/2020 Wednesday ALL customers ages 10 or older entering all locations must wear face coverings. You may remove face coverings once you are seated but if you must leave your seat to use the restrooms or for any other reason you must put your face coverings back on. We will have new masks available for customers who did not bring one whom wish to still dine in. However please keep in mind we currently only have a limited amount of masks available due to the short notice of the sanction. If we run out of masks we will sadly have to deny entry to those without one. In addition we will have to deny entry to anyone who refuses to wear a mask because it is now mandated by law and we must follow the mandates or risk fines and TABC license suspensions. Tokyo would never impose this on anyone on our own but we must follow government mandates so we do not get penalized. Regardless if you agree with the mandate or not please understand that the Tokyo team and staff are simply following the rules and mandates by the government to avoid severe penalties. Tokyo would never try to take anyone’s personal choice away from them, we are implementing these changes because we are being forced to. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe everyone and stay strong SeTx!
